Grandview’s 2019 Mega Sports Camp

June 17-20, 2019

We had a super fun week learning about sports, and life!  We sang songs, heard stories about combining sports and faith, and heard a great Bible story each day!  By the end of the week 200 kids were exposed to the joys of knowing and following Jesus!

GRANDVIEW Church Launching Weekly Worship Gatherings!

Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Mead Mead Middle School @ 9:30 am

Have you ever considered the value of being connected to a community minded, “multi-denominational” church?  If so, then you will want to check out Grandview Church in Mead this April!  After months of preparation, Grandview Church is launching weekly worship gatherings at Mead Middle School at 620 Welker Avenue in Mead.  We are a brand-new church plant that God is raising up in Mead.  No matter who you are, where you’ve been, or where you are in life right now, Grandview Church cares about you!  We aren’t perfect, and we certainly don’t have everything figured out yet, but we are pursuing Jesus and we’re seeking to live the kind of lives His followers should be known by!  A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ is our desire for you, and the Bible is our guide.  More than anything else, we want to help everyone find and follow Jesus!  We’re convinced that He alone can truly satisfy our deepest longings.

The Grandview Church worship gathering on Sunday, April 2nd will include our first baptisms.  The following week, Palm Sunday, April 9th will be our official “Launch” or “Grand Opening.”  On Easter Sunday, April 16th, we will host a community Easter Celebration.  All Grandview gatherings, including all future gatherings, will be held at Mead Middle School, from 9:30 – 10:45 am every Sunday morning.

Worship gatherings will be contemporary and informal and refreshments will be provided.  Grandview children’s teachers will offer fun and educational activities for your kids (nursery through 5th grade) all based on the Bible!

On Launch Sunday, April 9th, Pastor Bruce Hendrich will begin a 4-week message series for adults and youth entitled, “Running on Empty.”  Drawing from stories and principles in the Bible, Hendrich will seek to provide practical guidelines to help individuals and families come up with workable strategies for developing a more sustainable and fulfilling life.

As a church, we value our neighbors, our community, and our relationships with one another.  Therefore, we look forward to connecting with you in the near future!  If you have any questions or concerns, we’d love to hear from you.  You can reach us by email: or by mobile: 720-899-1126   We’re looking forward to connecting with you!

We praise God, and we are so thankful for, the responses we received at our recent “Catch the Grandview Vision” gathering at Town Hall!  We are continuing to move ahead with our next steps with an eight week training series covering our values as a church and as Christ-followers.  We will gather in our home (until we outgrow it) on Sunday mornings from 9 – 10 am with light refreshments and kids activities that will parallel what the adults will be learning.  This series will help team members and potential team members understand the biblical basis for the unique DNA of Grandview Church, and will enable us to prepare our church family for offering weekly public worship gatherings late this year or early next year.  Our home address is 16565 Sanford Street (Coyote Run), Mead.  Please come and be our guest as we grow together, for our good, and for the good of our community!

Meet Grandview Church, Sunday, August 21, 9-10 AM

Grandview Church will be having an informal, informational meeting about our church, and our plans for the future on Sunday, August 21 in the Community Room at Mead Town Hall from 9-10 am.  We will be sharing the DNA of our church and how you might fit in with us as we seek to become a great blessing to our wonderful community!  We will provide refreshments and childcare.  We look forward to seeing you there!

We recently finished a Life Group meeting in our home exploring: “The Story” – Is the Bible Relevant?   We investigated an overview of the Bible on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.  We began with a light meal and then followed that with a lively exploration of major Bible stories and teachings.  The children had lots of fun doing crafts and studying similar content to what the adults studied.

Our goal is to begin multiple Discovery Groups (“Is Jesus – relevant?”) in homes in various locations throughout our region. After completing a Discovery Group study we encourage people to join a Life Group studying “The Story.”  Once we have a number of Discovery and Life Groups meeting on a regular basis, we will begin weekly worship services in a Mead location that God provides for us.

We will also be providing activities for kids during Mead’s Summer Concert in the Park series, every other Thursday evening beginning June 9th.  We also want to find other ways to serve and bless our community as we seek to make reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ who will love God supremely, and love people sacrificially.
